ust a quick post to say I hope you all enjoy the holidays!! I won’t be blogging next week as it will be Christmas Day and I’ll be spending some much needed time with my family.
I feel like I take a lot of things for granted in life, especially this time of year. I’m so fortunate and blessed to have a family to spend the holidays with, and have food, a bed and shelter. Over the break I’m going to ensure I help those less fortunate than myself and make time to provide food for homeless people this year with my mum. Even taking time to buy someone a hot meal and have a conversation with them can make a difference to that individual.
I also mentioned last week that I’ve got some exciting plans after Christmas! So in just a few short weeks, I’ll be setting off to sunnier climates along with 30 other students, to be a volunteer with Atlantic Whale Foundation. Eeek!! I’m excited beyond belief and can’t wait to get out to Tenerife and help make a difference, but I’ll fill you in about this after the holidays!
The weight has disappeared off my shoulders having just submitted my last assignment. I’m now going to do some last minute online shopping, and put on Elf! Finally, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, and if you have exams in the new year, try and take your mind off them and enjoy these few weeks!
