Christmas is fast approaching us and Birmingham is the place to be! The famous Frankfurt Christmas market celebrates 50 years and will be joining us from 10am to 9pm starting November 17th to December 29th. The market offers the perfect opportunity to grab Christmas gifts for friends, family and loved ones and creates a special atmosphere in the area. And it brings refreshments. Beer. Plenty of it.

What makes the market so special?

Apart from it signalling the run up to Christmas, the Birmingham Christmas market is the biggest German Christmas market outside Germany and Austria! People flock from all over the country to visit the market and we’re fortunate enough to have it on our door steps! You won’t want to miss out.

Offering a range of traditional gifts and authentic German cuisine such as pretzels, schnitzels, bratwurst and roasted almonds, there is something for everyone. And beer. Lots of it.

What’s more?

Not only is it a market, but a music event too! Every weekday between 12-2 and 5-9 and weekends from 6-9 the bandstand on Victoria Square will host live music! Visit the events timetable for a detailed schedule.

And where exactly is it?

The market is stretched from Victoria Square and all along New Street so there’s no excuses not to take a stroll through. It’s accessible to wheel chair users and has toilet facilities nearby. There’s plenty of parking in local NCP car parks and similar too.

For more information, visit the German Christmas Market page.

We hope you enjoy the market as much as we do each year! Have fun shopping,

Luke
