My go-to autumn/winter make-up look (cruelty-free)

My go-to autumn/winter make-up look (cruelty-free)

I love doing my make-up in the colder months, mainly because I get to pull out all my dark lip colours!

I thought this week I would show you what I tend to wear in terms of make-up on a normal day in autumn or winter. The best part of this post is that all the make-up I mention is cruelty-free!

Face

I love a lighter coverage in winter and something that is going to keep my skin as moisturised as possible. This is my 4th bottle of the Urban Decay One and DoneIt is just perfect for blurring any imperfections but looking like you have nothing actually on your skin at all.

Another staple product that I use all year round and I couldn’t even tell you how many bottles of this I have purchased is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer I use this on anywhere that needs a little bit more coverage, which usually tends to be the dark circles under my eyes.

I then finish off my skin with a touch of blusher. I am liking the colour of this one in the Collection #FaceTheDay PaletteHowever, I am on the lookout for a new cruelty-free blush so let me know your suggestions in the comments!

Brows

I tend to alternate between two products depending on how strong I want my brows that day. If I want a strong brow I will use my NYX Waterproof Eyebrow GelIt is very similar to the Anastasia Dip Brow but a cheaper alternative.

If I am going for a softer look I will use my Soap and Glory Brow ArcheryI enjoy anything that has a pen for eyebrows so I can draw on individual hairs as I don’t naturally have much brow hair.

I then finish off the brows with my GOSH Brow Gel to give a little more colour to my real brow hairs. (The writing has rubbed off the packaging).

Eyes

My go-to eyeshadow palette in Autumn/Winter tends to be my Too Faced Chocolate Bar PaletteI use a different combination of colours each day… But you can see from the picture which ones are my most loved colours.

Once my eyeshadow is done I then put on a few coats of my favourite mascara, Essence Lash Princess.

Lips

Finally my favourite part! I get so excited over lip colours so it was hard for me to choose a favourite for this blog post. I decided to share one new favourite and an old favourite.

My recently found love for the NYX Liquid Suede products led me to discover this amazing shade called Biker Babe. It’s a metallic deep red and I’m obsessed with it.

My old faithful lipstick is the Urban Decay Lipstick in the colour Shame. Urban Decay has a beautiful lipstick formula and I highly recommend if you want to start using only cruelty-free products you try Urban Decay and boycott MAC.

If you want to see any more cruelty-free blogs please let me know. I post them on my own personal blog, but I would be happy to post some here also.

As always if you have any questions or suggestions please leave them in the comments and I’ll catch you guys next week!

Ya girl,

Jade x
