Birthday week!

Birthday week!

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all well and had a great week.  This past week has been a crazy amazing one for me as it was the week of my 20th Birthday. When you are younger you celebrate your birthday on the actual day, and then when it’s your birthday party, and that’s it.  But, when you get older having two days to celebrate your birthday isn’t enough. It has to be celebrated across the whole week.  I thought it would be fun to share with you what I got up celebrating the fact that I am no longer a teen.

To start the week, I had what I can only describe as the best surprise ever on Saturday 11th November when I opened the door expecting to see my family but to find they had brought my best friend up too! I was so in shock and happy that I burst into tears – silly I know, but I hadn’t seen her since September and due to deadlines, work and cheerleading I wasn’t sure when I’d next be able to see her before Christmas, so I was very excited. With my family and best friend here, the celebrations could begin!

Left to Right: My sister, Me, Alice (my best friend)

As I was about to turn 20, I wanted to do something fun to celebrate this: Cadbury World.  I would definitely recommend going here if you get the chance for a day full of history, fun and chocolate. I had a great laugh.

Another thing I did to celebrate my birthday was a cheerleading glitter party! With it being my actual birthday day, my uni friends and I went all out. Let’s just say I had a rather sore head the next day.

To top off the week I had a night of dancing with my some of my best friends who made sure I had the best birthday ever.  Photo-shoot, drinking games and dancing – what more could I ask for.
