Birmingham is a big city; there are many areas even in central Birmingham. You have the Jewellery Quarter, China Town, Digbeth and Brindley Place. A little further out you have the NEC, right by the Genting arena, this is easily accessible via the international train station, a short ride from Grand Central train station itself. This is where you find Resorts world!
Resorts World is a huge shopping and dining complex sat right beside a beautiful lake. Believe me, for Birmingham it’s a pretty view! Resorts World is a great day or night out!
There is a full list of everything available at Resorts World on its website.
Here is a list of a few things you can find at Resorts World:

I have been on a few trips to Resorts World, one last summer and one this April. Two different trips, very different weather and different people and both great days!
Last summer, I and some friends sat by the lake in the TGI Fridays outside seating. It was so hot and we had lunch in the sun. We walked around the shops and looked for camping gear for our upcoming trip to Wales. I brought a spiralizer in the outlet cookware shop and the lads went to the Nike outlet store. Outside while it was sunny by the lake we sat on the benches and looked at the ducks.
This spring (it felt like winter though it was that cold), the girls and me headed to Las Iguanas for some South American cuisine. We stuffed our faces and drank Pina Coladas. We walked round the shops as my friend brought presents for her boyfriend’s birthday. It was cold outside so we decided to take a trip to the huge Genting casino, where I bet £1 on Russian roulette and then proceeded to lose £1 on Russian roulette. We had a go on the slot machines and looked at all the machines after finally (with the help of one friendly manager) being able to work out how to insert money into the machines and how to use our brand new sparkly membership cards.
All I can say it is definitely a great trip, especially for those wanting something a little different apart from going out in Birmingham. I am planning a trip to the spa as well as a night out at the Sky Bar, which I have heard is gorgeous.
So take a train down to the NEC and check out Resorts World!
