Dream holiday

Dream holiday

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all well and have had a good summer so far.

Last week, my mum and I finally decided to book our holiday! With only a week off work and my dad and sister out of the country, we knew we wanted it to be a relaxing girls’ holiday. We knew we wanted to go to a hot country, with a beach close by and we wanted good evening entertainment. But, the question was, where?

After some online research, we went into a travel agent (somewhere we haven’t gone in years, as we normally book villas online). While there, I did get a little sidetracked and looked at lots of different brochures, which got me thinking about my dream holidays.

So, this week I thought I would share with you some of the places I would love to visit and things I would love to do on holiday if I could:

1.Go on an African safari – I have had this dream since I was a little girl! I love the idea of seeing all the animals in their natural habitat roaming free and not at a zoo behind bars. Don’t get me wrong, some zoos have some AMAZING enclosures for the animals, but I just feel there is something different about seeing animals in the wild.

2. See the Northern Lights – This is another dream I have had since I was young. I would love to camp out in an igloo, under the stars, wrapped up in about one hundred layers!

3. Go on an American road trip – I have been to some parts of America before (Disneyland Florida and Washington DC) and I LOVED them both! But I would love to explore more. I would even like to do little things, like eat a hot dog from a cart in the park, or ride in a yellow cab, or try and eat a massive burger!

4. Santorini or Mykonos – Mum and I were so close to booking this for our holiday but sadly, the flights didn’t work out with her work schedule. The towns and beaches are BEAUTIFUL and this is still somewhere I would love to go.

5. Cruise – I know this isn’t a location, but it is still a holiday I would like to go on if I could. I just love the idea of it being a holiday where you can visit so many places in one but still have like a comfy room with lots to do in between.

So, that is just a few of my dream holidays! I hope you have found this interesting, and that maybe it has given some of you some inspiration as to where you would like to go on holiday.
