Uni Friendly Outfits – Autumn

Uni Friendly Outfits – Autumn

This week I thought I would post a couple of outfits which I deem to be uni friendly. This time of the year is a nightmare, one day its summer the next its winter… we can’t keep up! So I’ve focused my uni friendly autumn outfits on being adapting to the weather as well as being comfortable!

Outfit 1

This outfit was about just throwing something on! Those gloomy wet days call for a giant comfy jumper. Be sure to wear something underneath as no matter how cold it is, once you’ve tackled those stairs at Summer Row you’ll want to strip off to a T-shirt! These boots are also great as they have a little heel which make your comfy jumper days look that little bit less frumpy.

Jumper – Warehouse, Jamie Jeans £40 – Topshop, Boots £49.99 – Mango

Outfit 2

This is one of my favourite outfits to wear. The shirt never creases and is really light so the jacket bulks it out a bit, making it fitting for the cooler mornings we’re having.

Suede Jacket – Reiss, Blouse – Topshop, Jamie Jeans £40– Topshop, Loafers – Kurt Geiger

Outfit 3

Now for those spontaneous ‘still sort of summer’ days. I love these white culottes with a blue shirt. I usually dress it up with some heels but have dressed it down with a dark denim jacket and some nude pumps for uni.

Shirt £29 – Topshop, Jacket – H&M, Culottes £90 – Reiss, Pumps – Mango

Outfit 4

This is one of my favourites. With uni it’s all about easy options and these throw on shirts work well for me and those early mornings! The Topshop Jamie Jeans are probably the most comfortable denim I own as it has a stretch to it without loosing its shape. I’ve also opted for my little heeled boots but some Chelsea boots would work just as well. Shirt – New Look, Jacket – Reiss, Jamie Jeans £40– Topshop, Boots £49.99 – Mango

Outfit 5

This outfit is to highlight the importance of buying things that will give you flexibility. I used to buy things to wear for a one off, especially for nights out, but now I opt for separates as opposed to a dress and for more classical styles that I know will go with more things already in my wardrobe. So here we have another throw on shirt! The pale blue colour goes with everything. You can layer it over a T-shirt or under a jumper, wear it with jeans or a skirt and make it as fancy as you need it to be. Staple pieces give you more options and we all want more options.

Shirt – Topshop, Jacket – Reiss, Jeans £40– Topshop, Loafers – Kurt Geiger.

The only other thing to include on your walks into uni is an umbrella. I don’t care if the sun is set to shine all day, ALWAYS TAKE AN UMBRELLA!

Mischke.
