Hi everyone!
I hope you are well and ready to start back at uni!
After a long break over Christmas, it can often be hard to get back into things. So, I like to try and do little things to help make it that bit easier.
One thing I like to do is look up what lectures I have and when I have them as a way to start planning the next semester. This information can be found on the Portal and on the UCB app.
Another thing I like to do is write any key dates and times into my diary and my calendar (both on my phone and on my wall). By doing this, it will make planning my time easier and I will feel more prepared knowing what is happening and when.
I also recommend making sure your laptop is ready to go for the final semester. One way in which I do this is by making sure Microsoft and any other apps I often use at uni are updated. Another way I make sure my laptop is ready to go is by creating folders for the new modules I will be studying this semester to save my work into.
Another thing I do to help get back into studying is get my bag ready to go by stocking up on pens, note books and snacks.
The final thing I like to do to help get back into things is remind myself of the final goal. Having the motivation and determination reinstalled back into myself helps me feel ready to go. But also remember not to put too much pressure on yourself, just do your best!
I hope you enjoyed this post and it helps you get back into the swing of things. Head over to our Instagram for more posts and inspiration.
