Organising My First Hen Party

Organising My First Hen Party

Hello, hello, hello, everyone!!!! How are you?? I hope your summer is going very well.

Today I would like to share with you all my experience organising a hen party.  As you may have read last week, my cousin is getting married and I am taking care of her hen party.

I am super excited, and I really enjoy organising parties. This one is extremely special. Therefore, this day needs to be extremely WOW for my cousin, a day that she will never forget.

Well how do I organise a hen party? What comes first? What things should I include? These are some of many questions I asked myself when I decided to organise my cousin’s hen party. I had a lot of fear as this is a big challenge and very delicate, as there would be lots of people and they will have personal preferences over what is good enough. The important thing to do is believe in the best you can do, and everything will be okay.

I firstly began to search for places in Gibraltar – it’s a bit difficult due to the current situation however never impossible. I thought I wouldn’t receive quick responses, but to tell you the truth, I received the most important one of all the places I contacted. I really wanted to do it in this club beside the marina, and I really thought it would meet all my expectations. This, on the other hand, didn’t go as I thought, but it was much better what they offered me instead. The owners of this club were also the owners of Las Iguanas Restaurant. And what they offered me instead was even better than what I had in mind.

The restaurant has amazing windows with views to the sea. And they offered me lots of things, including decoration, games, drinks, food, cakes, gifts for everyone and even music for six hours. How amazing is that? I was so happy and excited that I just didn’t believe it. It was too good to be true. I think that my cousin will love it and I hope she enjoys her day as much as I have enjoyed organising it for her.

This experience has really pushed me forward, overcoming my weaknesses. I had the opportunity to do something that I truly enjoy doing and prove to myself once again that I can do anything I want. The key is believing you can do it and you will do it.
